Day 17-
STORMY! Nothing motivates like a summer storm. Two today, one at 2, one at 4. Big cracks of lightning are fun when you're flirting with the bottom of the clouds. You could see the bolts race through the cloud base; it was awesome. Slower paced morning... really just enjoying the walk. The Trail opened up into some beautiful meadows. Been playing tag with Craig and Lisa all day. Shelter @ 4. Ben, Two Lions, Kenji laugh like hell. Late night again, 20 miles tomorrow.

*Today I meet Ben, Two Lions and Kenji; I'll be hiking with them for pretty much the rest of the trip. Get ready for some good banter about these smooth operators.
